Its possible to use a trolly setup for take off. This will work well even on rought run way surfaces.

 

For landings the glider is able to reduce air speed with air brakes.

I think it would be best to land the glider in long grass. This would be the safest method.

 

When its been established that controlls are not delayed.Then it might be possible to do slow speed landing on its single wheel on a smooth runway. 

 

Landing will be the most difficult.
